Grade F for Governor Scott Walker

Governor Scott Walker’s First 100 Days Evaluation

 Soft Skills (Character Traits)

• Honesty Grade: F Remarks: Scott Walker seemed unable to tell the truth. He lied about the cause of Wisconsin’s budget problem, which he blamed on overpaid government employees. He lied about the options available to him for solving Wisconsin’s budget problem –draconian reductions to the wages and benefits of public employees were not his only options. He made a conscious choice to exclude all forms of revenues. The list of his lies is just too long to be noted here. In short, Scott lied about everything.

• Respect Grade: F Remarks: Time and time again, Scott demonstrated his lack of respect for state and federal laws, the American Constitution, the citizens of Wisconsin, and himself. He disregarded court orders, violated the “equal protection clause” of the Fourteenth Amendment, insulted, miscast and taunt public workers.

• Fairness Grade: F Remarks: Although it appears that Scott has the ability to tell right from wrong, he seemed to lack the moral fiber to “do the right thing.” All his policies favor one class over another. For example, at the same time that he was strapping the middle class with paying Wisconsin’s $137 million dollar debt, he was corporations $117 million dollars.

• Courage Grade: F Remarks: On several occasions, Scott was seen bullying others that he perceived as weaker than he. He seemed to be unaware that beating-up on the most vulnerable citizens in his states isn’t an act of courage; to the contrary, it is the act of a coward. Courageous leaders do the right thing, even when they are certain that it might cost them their jobs, or their favorable standings in well-to-do communities, or put them in harm’s way!

• Tolerance Grade: F Remarks: Scott appears to be intolerant of others – especially the ones he perceives to be different from himself. It seems as if the more different they appear from Scott, the greater the burden he heaps and the more disenfranchised he is trying to make them.

• Teamwork Grade: F Remarks: In November, 2010, Scott was given one of the best and most cohesive teams in the United States – the citizens of Wisconsin. However, today, as a direct result of Scott’s actions, this team is in shambles and extremely fragmented. Scott didn’t build a team; he destroyed a good one!

• Kindness Grade: F Remarks: Scott often act unkind – even when there isn’t any need for him to do so. What is most disturbing is the fact that he appears to be most unkind to the members of his constituency that are in desperate need of acts of kindness – from him!

Prediction: Governor Scott Walker’s policies are going to become “the law of the land” in Wisconsin. The rich will become richer, and the poor will become poorer. National leaders –especially those in the Republican Party – will heap praises on Walker. They will talk about the creative ways in which he balanced his state’s budget and the tough courageous choices he made in order to do so. What will go unnoticed and unreported are the children in rural and inner-city Wisconsin that cries every night because they are hungry and cold. What will go unnoticed and unreported are the quiet exits of these children and their parents in pine boxes to the holes in Wisconsin’s cemetery because they were unable to pay for the medical attention they need.. . while the super wealthy spend their excessive billions on adult toys!

God help us!!
